We’re excited to announce that Optohive is now officially part of the ETH AI Center’s affiliated startup community!

At Optohive, we’re on a mission to make brain activity visible using light and AI. By combining cutting-edge neuroscience with deep tech innovation, we aim to redefine how brain function is measured, understood, and applied in medicine and research.

Our core technology – a next-generation wearable brain imaging system powered by functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) – enables non-invasive, real-time monitoring of brain activity. This platform opens new possibilities for diagnostics in ADHD, mental health, and neurorehabilitation, while bringing precision and accessibility to brain monitoring across clinical and research settings.

Being welcomed into the ETH AI Center, one of the world’s leading hubs for AI research and innovation, is both an honor and a milestone for us. This affiliation strengthens our ties with ETH Zurich, where our journey began, and brings us into a network of world-class researchers, innovators, and fellow startups working at the frontier of artificial intelligence.
